Hey guys,

I'm having issues trying to run CSGO on my laptop. I know, running a game and obs on a laptop is not recommended, but i have been making it work for a while now. Anyway, I'm trying to use Game Capture to run CSGO like i do for all my other pc games. Since i got my PC, even now, I'm able to run GMOD, H1Z1, Sims 4 and a couple more.

Now, for the last week or so, I've bought a couple of games like FNAF, Super Meat Boy and, of course, CSGO. When i try to game capture these games, they don't work. I don't get a black screen either, it transparent like it doesn't recognize it. It doe the same for monitor capture. Here's the message i get from doing an analysis:

Multiple video cards detected

If you are having problems and are using a laptop, see this thread for advice.

If you are using SLI or Crossfire, you may need to disable it for compatibility with OBS.

Hook conflict detected

Game capture detected a hook conflict but was unable to determine which application was responsible. Try closing any other applications that may be injecting into your game, such as FRAPS, D3DGear, MSI Afterburner, AMD Raptr / Gaming Evolved, Action!, TeamSpeak/Mumble Overlays or any other kind of FPS monitor or overlay program

Here's the log https://gist.github.com/anonymous/15ffb27dbbd16393928d

Can anyone help? I've tried so many things and none of them work. Also, I think it's more the hook thing that's screwing things up. Sorry if my problem is not clear, if you need more info, just ask.

Thanks guys!!

I think it's more the hook thing that's screwing things up.
You're on a laptop with switchable graphics, and unfortunately, radeon + intel combo REALLY doesn't like playing nice with OBS. nVidia + intel combo works a lot more consistently since the nvidia control panel does let you assign OBS to the nvidia gpu.

Did you follow the linked thread in the multiple video cards detected section?

I tried the second part running it windowed and compatibility but it just creates so much lag and my settings are already not that high. Like is said on top, I'm able to run other, more demanding games than this one with no hitch.

I kept working at it and i found proof, i think, that they run on the same gpu. It does say that if it was running else where that it is not listed, but both are there.

ok, thanks anyway. i played around with the windowed option and just downscale the game to windowed 720 and down scale monitor to 1050 to make it bigger.
