Bug Report Game Capture Issue With Dota 2

Hello OBS people!

I am currently having an issue where I am unable to use Game Capture with Dota 2. I add Dota 2 as a game capture on a new scene, it appears with animation for a few moments, then the game capture locks up. If I remove the game capture and try to re-add it, it just gives me a black screen. I know Game Capture is still in envelopment, but I have heard of other broadcasters using Game Capture in Dota 2 and having it work fine.

Any thoughts/workarounds/ideas/cool dances?

By lock up, do you mean the image does not continue to update and it shows a frozen moment? Could you give me a log file please?

That is exactly what I mean! I did a preview test log just now. It added a game source fine to a new scene, but when I went to adjust a setting, stretch to fit window, it went to a black screen.

It seems you are using two game captures and sometimes a window capture, all at the same time. That could be causing the problems, though I couldn't say for sure. The checkbox to disable a source only disables it, it does not actually turn it off entirely (though I'm thinking about making it do just that in the future now that I see this).

First, make sure your scene only has one game capture in it, and that it's capturing the dota2, then check the log to make sure that your stream session only has "Using graphics capture" once, not twice like it in that log you just posted. I just need you to try this out to make sure this isn't the problem first, if possible
