Bug Report Game Capture crashes when capture cursor enabled

I've moved from OBS Classic to OBS Studio to capture X-Plane 11 content. Having the mouse cursor captured is required for what I'm trying to do.

OBS Classic has previously worked perfectly on this computer but now it reports a DirectX 10 issue (with no hardware changes) With the dxcpl workaround I get poor performance and stutters content recorded from X-Plane 11.

OBS Studio captured content is better with same overall x264 settings, but I continually get crashes to the point OBS is unusable. X-Plane 11 uses a lot of custom mouse cursors to represent control actions. When capture cursor is disabled the capture is reliable, but useless for what I need.

Is this a known issue with OBS Studio?

OBS Studio 20.1.3 64 bit, Win 7. Crash log attached
Also tried OBS Studio version 19 with similar results. Also tried OpenGL, windowed mode, compatibility and lots of different combinations but the crash always occurs.

If anybody else is having a similar issue, I haven't been able to fix the crashing with OBS Studio, but the issue with OBS Classic was resolved by moving to an older version of the AMD drivers. I have an HD6850 and had Catalyst version 15.20 (the last release available for that card). OBS Studio falsely generated the DirectX10 error like the GPU didn't support DX10. Going back to 14.3 drivers has allowed OBS Classic to work without the "Force WARP" trick, and the capture performance is as good as ever.

OBS Studio still crashes with the mouse cursor issue.
