Question / Help Game Capture causing terrible frame-rate with Windows10

Win10's causing me some issues - not least the lame driver support from AMD for my HD6990s. The most annoying problem with OBS is how broken Game Capture seems to be ATM.

An obvious example would be League of Legends - which runs fine with window capture; but loses 50fps in game-capture.

This never used to be a problem; and this lagginess with game-capture is a major issue with games I need to run full-screen (and thus benefit from CrossfireX support, which stops window-capture from being a possibility).

Any ideas how this can be fixed? Or is game capture just going to result in crap performance on Windows10 now?

I had the same problem, the November Windows 10 update released a few days ago broke game capture. It's fixed in the source code but a compiled version hasn't been released yet. Once the new OBS update is released everything should work as before.

OBS Multiplatform has a fixed version released already (0.12.1, https://github.com/jp9000/obs-studio/releases), you might want to try that in the meantime, that's what I'm doing.
