Question / Help Game Capture can't find my client

When I go to use Game Capture it is unable to find my application"Osbuddy". This is the application I use to play oldschool runescape. But when I use a window capture it is able to find the osbuddy application. What is the reason for this and how can I get osbuddy to appear in applications for a game capture?

note: I would use a window capture but I can't get the right dimensions and it ends up being distorted.

Likely the program is pre-DX9. OBS GameCap can only capture DX9 and later programs (and some OpenGL I believe).

I don't believe that is the case because plenty of other runescape streamers use obs to stream!
