hi,

I have Lenovo S500 Windows 8 64 bit, fully updated.

I have optimus 2 graphics cards intel HD and nVidia GT 720.
Problem is black screen..

log:
Nvidia optimus detected, second adapter selected, ignoring useless second adapter, I guess.
15:46:17: Loading up D3D10 on Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 (Adapter 1)...

nVidia driver settings: OBS run with nVidia
I've installed the newest drivers.
adapter in OBS settings: nVidia

still having black screen..

I don't know what's wrong.

Follow the instructions in this thread (read them *carefully*): http://obsproject.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=5965 and it should get you up and running.

thx, but I found a solution.

open a game, minimize the game, open OBS, press preview mode, black screen ok! now open the game again, minimize and wow it works!
if it doesn't work for the first time, keep doing it again.

it's probably a bug in OBS.

also make sure, the proper video adapter is selected in OBS settings and also in Nvidia settings OBS is set to use your dedicated graphics card!.

Hope this helps.

Please download and install the latest Intel HD4000 drivers from http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Product ... amilyId=39 to see if that helps. You currently have a "Microsoft Basic Render Driver" listed in the log which indicates that something's going wrong with the Intel graphics stuff. If it doesn't work, post an updated log file.

thanks mate,
I did upgrade, but OBS says Microsoft driver, but in device manager there is Intel Driver in use.

Which updated log file do you mean?
