Question / Help Game capture black screen

I was getting a black screen with a red dot in the top left corner of the preview while it was showing normal in the properties window. For me the solution was resetting the transform (Ctrl+R) or:

Rightclick on the game capture source > Transform > Reset Transform

I'm using the Elgato HD60 S+ connected to my Xbox series s and I can see my Xbox home screen on obs Studios but as soon as I load up GTA V or any other game it goes black how do I fix this

You need to run OBS on the same GPU that is running your game. You're running OBS on your integrated GPU. This is correct for desktop capture, but not window or game capture.

I'm running a computer that is capturing my Xbox One S they're not the same GPU

I have same Game Capture black screen error then I find out RivaTuner Statistics Server of MSI Afterburner cause this problem. Here is my solution to fix it:
1. Run OBS.exe as administrator
2. Add your game to Game Capture
3. Open RivaTuner Statistics Server -> Go to settings (or setup)
4. Tick at "Use Microsoft Detours API hooking"
5. Restart MSI Afterburner, game and your OBS will work this time.

This worked!! Out of all the things I've read about what to do, this is the only one that worked! I ticked that box in RivaTuner and restarted my PC. Et voila!! Game capture works now! Didn't even had to start my OBS as admin. Thanks a million for finding this fix!
