Hello OBS support team, I am hoping you can help me. Yesterday I installed a windows update and since then OBS will not capture my Sims 4 game through game capture. Literally have tried everything but to be more specific I will write it down here.
1) Uninstalled and reinstalled both OBS & Sims 4.
2) Went to graphics and ensured that the high performance was checked for both Sims 4 and OBS for capturing.
3) Pressed resize output source
4) Ran OBS as administrator
5) Deleted all existing scenes and created new game capture
6) Complete reset Windows to factory settings and reinstalled windows keeping zero of my original files. Before reloading my files from my external hard drive I installed the Sims 4 and OBS to test and it is still a black screen for game capture.
I am truly at a loss here, I have done every single thing advised on youtube videos and tutorials and every single thing has failed me. I have been streaming Sims for 8 years on YouTube and out of nowhere it is gone dark.
Please, please help me. I honestly don't know what else I can do. I thought resetting PC as if it was new would do the trick but that didn't work and that was my absolute last resort. Any and all help is appreciated. Thank you
