Game Audio To Headphones

Hello, I am trying to hear my game audio in my headphones while recording. It comes out fine in the recording I would just like to hear it in my headphones as I record.
I found the box to check at the bottom of settings to get it to play through my PC speakers just not my headphones. I've been digging into all the OBS settings the last few days and I'm sure I have just overlooked something. Thanks for the assistance.

My setup is
- Xbox One X into
- Elgato 4K60 Pro (installed into PC)
- Yamaha MG10XU (plugged into PC via USB)
- Mic (audio technica 20/20)
- Headphones (audio technica 40x)

Do I need to plug my headphones into my PC?
Do I need to plug stereo wires out from my motherboard to the Yamaha MG10XU?

If you are on Windows 10 right click on the sound icon in your task bar. Go to sound settings, then scroll down and click on advanced sound settings.
There should be a list of all running apps on your pc that have sound.
If you have OBS running, you can update the output of obs from default to your headphones there. This will remain until you update back to default.
