Question / Help Gain filter not being applied on Window Capture

I'm trying to have the audio from discord calls recorded separately and I thought of using the window capture on it and adding the Gain filter. When I tried this though the filter was never applied. I tried again and again but the filter never showed up on the "Audio/Video Filters" tab. Is there something I need to do first?

You can't apply an audio filter (gain) to a video capture source (window).

You need to apply it to the audio device you are capturing, where discord audio is being sent.
