Fullscreen Projector not working over AirPlay using Roku

Hi there,

I'm trying to Fullscreen Projector (even Windowed Projector) to a display connected over AirPlay using a Roku stick but once I enable AirPlay and select Fullscreen Projector onto the Roku stick, a blank screen is just displayed. The only way I can display what ever is on the Output canvas is to mirror my main display and zoom in on OBS.

I'm using OBS 27.2.4 on macOS Big Sur 11.6.5.

Out of curiosity and to reduce variables while troubleshooting:
Have you tried OBS' Projector mode to a physically attached monitor on this computer and got that to work? my thinking is to not try and troubleshoot AirPlay/Roku if the issue more basic [and no, sorry, I don' t know if AirPlay will work as a Projector output.. ]

Yes, projector mode works with hdmi or otherwise attached monitors just fine. It’s only when AirPlay (mirroring my screen option or using the airplay monitor as a second screen) is enabled does the projector mode just display a blank screen.
