Hallo everyone,

I'm new on this forum and like to thank you for your help with my problem :)
My 7-year-old son made some videos with OBS while playing Roblox.
After capturing some gameplay I've put them on YouTube and everything seems working quite nice. But while the videos are full screen on my telephone and PC, they are not on the YouTube app on both of our televisions.
Am I doing something wrong, or is there some setting I don't know about? I really would like to get rid of the big black borders while watching on tv ;)

Here is a link of the video, maybe that can be of some help:

Thank you some much for your help and greetings,
Sybrand :)

The video seems like it was recorded on a 16:10 aspect ratio display, whereas the majority of TVs and other playback devices are 16:9. You may be able to find an option on your TV to stretch the image to fit, but this will distort the proportions. Nothing is technically wrong, just different shaped displays were used for recording vs playback.

Thank you for your help! :)
Is there another maybe to get the gaming videos full screens?
I don't to buy a 16:9 monitor just for the videos...

If you don't want viewers to see black bars, your son will have to. If he plays in a 16:9 window on his machine and records at that aspect ratio, the videos will be full screen on YouTube for viewers using 16:9 displays.
