Pretty much the title. I'm trying to move over to OBS from Twitch Studio. I just downloaded and installed OBS and launched it, went through the basic initial setup, and am now trying to add sources...but the corresponding "Create/Select Source" dialogue doesn't populate with ANY of my sources (other than the default desktop audio and built in microphone), no matter what I try to add. It doesn't show my camera, it doesn't show my audio interface, it doesn't show my displays....I've launched browsers, games, and additional windows as well and the corresponding source dialogue box simply doesn't show anything. At all. It's not that it doesn't work, or that i can't preview it....it literally doesn't exist to OBS.
I've tried relaunching OBS, I've launched as admin, I've rebooted my computer, I've uninstalled/reinstalled OBS, etc.
Everything works fine in other applications (Discord, Twitch Studio, etc.), so I know that nothing magically and suddenly went wrong with literally every A/V source on my computer. It has to be something I'm missing in the OBS setup.
I'm about to tear my hair out over this; I was looking for a good alternative to Twitch Studio but if this is indicative of the user/learning curve of OBS, I'm not sure it's worth it.
