Freezing during transition. Easyworship to OBS.

Hello, I have a question about OBS working with Easy Worship.

I am very new to OBS but have watched a ton of videos to try to make my live stream better.

My issue is concerning transitioning from a still to a motion clip. In easy worship it works fine. However, in OBS, every time I switch from a still to a motion, the motion freezes for a second. I've tried with different motion clips and different stills, and still, it's the same thing. I am running windows 11 and an 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11700F @ 2.50GHz 2.50 GHz comp. I am using the 7.4.08 version of easy worship... and the 26.0.2 version of OBS because I could find a NDI plug in for the newest version.

If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this please.... I'm all ears... your time is appreciated!

1. I don't recommend WIn11 except for 12th gen Intel or newer systems (due to CPU scheduler changes for BIG.little CPUs). I'm sticking with Win10 for at least another year.
2. you don't mention the motion clip type, nor how you are 'playing' it (Media Source, VLC, or ??)
3. note pinned post in this forum (link in my .sig) on posting your OBS log
4. Considering fixes, why not OBS Studio v26.1.1? or v27. You are right to skip OBS v28 for now to let plugins get updated, including NDI integrations, so you have a smooth experience [I to have a PTZ NDI camera and am holding off for now)

And I've seen screen display (like a pause) NOT be replicated in a recording/stream... so have you confirmed that what you are viewing isn't just an artifact in the preview/studio mode window?
- if the motion freeze is present in Recording/Stream, have you
- not unloaded the source when not in use (worked for me on some content I had). I would play the 4K source before a service in OBS, not let OBS unload the source, and then it would play fine once 'live'. Hopefully you have enough RAM
- tried alternate media player (ie VLC Source instead of Media Source) or re-muxing the motion clip into something OBS does NOT have an issue with?

Easy Worship may be pre-caching the content. Are you playing motion media from a SSD or HDD?
