Hello there,
I have an issue with OBS that I just cannot fix. My files have an issue where there are random freezes in the video, with the audio still playing for about 15 seconds, followed by a slight pause, then it all catches up. It happens at random intervals, it may happen within the first 5 minutes, or once in an hour. Happens multiple times in a video. Doesn't matter if the game is 20 years old or brand new. It's occurred so far in every game I've recorded at some point.
Things I have tried:
GPU and CPU encoding
CRF set from 10 - 20
Presets between medium and veryfast
Setting OBS priority from normal to high
setting the number of threads to record with
recording 30 to 60fps
resolutions from and between 720p to 1440p
limiting in game FPS to match recording FPS
Reinstalling OBS
turning off all antivirus
Specs:
R5 3600
RX5700
32GB RAM
3 SSD's - 1TB with games and programs, 4TB with media, 256GB use solely for recording footage.
I only record locally to an SSD I have which is for nothing but recording. No games installed on it or anything else. While I record I make sure to have nothing but OBS and the game running. OBS is run as admin at all times. I've attached a logfile that has a log of a video of mine with the issue. For this video, I was recording at 1536x864, 30fps, veryfast, OBS priority high. I've checked CPU usage and always make sure to have ample room, around 70% or more headroom. The recording was named "Apr-27-15-18-20". I've also got a link in this post that shows the problem. This is a cut-out from the same recording "Apr-27-15-18-20"

How do I solve this? Any help would really be appreciated.
