Oh Hello there!

Lately I've been using OBS to test the stream and see the performance in my computer.
My computer specs are :

CPU: AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 965 Processor (4CPU's), ~3.4GHz
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 550Ti
RAM: 8GB

Internet is : Download :: 22.4 Mbps 2.8 MB/s Upload :: 2.4 Mbps 300 kB/s (According to http://testmy.net/)

So, what am I doing wrong? What settings would you recommend for the stream and game performance in-game?

Thanks!

OK, the settings from the second file are much better but you'll have to downscale.
go to settings>video and downscale by 1.5
change the fps to 25
set the bitrate/bufsize at 1920
change the preset back to "veryfast" from advanced options.

also for better performance and if you're running a 64bit windows try this build viewtopic.php?f=6&t=68

Hey! Thanks! It kinda works good! here is the result : http://www.twitch.tv/kruzustv/b/384647837 like 5 mins. u dont have to watch it just skip some parts.. Anyways another quick question. I still get LITTLE BIT of game lag, like from MINIMUM is 30. Then it goes back to 40+ and 50++ when i switch to first person mode it goes to 30 then goes back to 40 and 55+++

Whats the problem?

Thanks!

Is it going to add more pressure to the CPU when I do that??
no, it'll make the cpu focus more on the game than other tasks. your stream is not running at high fps so it shouldn't be affected as much.

Hey! Thanks for the help! I just Have few questions on OBS if you dont mind.

What does CFR and CBR do? And how did you calculate or find the bitrate and buffersize knowing my internet speed?

and what is Use multithreaded optimizations?

Thanks!

Quick question, which should I use when streaming: Software Capture OR Game Capture? is there any difference?
