Question / Help frames dropping massively

Hey everyone,

I'm having troubles streaming guild wars 2 using OBS. pc and internet specs:

i5 2500k oc'd to 4,3 ghz
GTX560 ti twin frozr II
120 down
10 up

These are my obs settings:
using CBR
Quality: 7
bitrate: 4500 buffer: 4500
Audio: aac 112 bitrate
1920*1080 base res, scaled down to 1280x720
filter: fastest
fps: 30
Server: Amsterdam (i live in the netherlands)

OBS status bar keeps telling me my droped frames are around 30% and every few seconds it shows the red block instead of green.

Any ideas what could be the problem? i did speedtest and pingtest and everything returns fine.

Lower your bitrate to 3000 and try changing servers.

using jtvping i get the lowest ping and litter for amsterdam, but il give it a try

it worked, dont know why or how but now 0% framedrop. did see that amsterdam server gave more jitter than UK one

Run the 6MB test at http://testmy.net/upload as livestreaming relies on constant throughput; many ISPs use a 'burst mode' that averages out when doing dead-file transfers, but does zero good while livestreaming. Possible that you may have less actual throughput than you think.

Also, the twitch.tv servers tend to have significant problems with being sent anything above 3500kbps.
