Just got a second PC up and running for streaming and I'm trying to figure out the best settings, so I'm testing with Anthem since it seems to be the most difficult one to get perfect.
I'll link some logs at the bottom of this, but figured I would drop my pc specs first.
Gaming PC:
Ryzen 5 2600, 1080gpu, 16g ram
Stream PC:
i7-5820K, 1060gpu, 16g ram
---
Issue: The stream seems to be fine for a while, but then all of a sudden there are crazy drops in frame. In this particular stream I'm pretty smooth for a few minutes, no frame drops and quality seems OK enough. Then around 6minutes in the frames start dropping and lasted nearly a full minute before returning to normal.
I'm not familiar with the logs, but it seems like it's saying that it's an internet problem. It could be because there was a storm in the area at the time of the stream, but I was trying to get this sorted out the day before and was still experiencing frame drops and it wasn't storming then. SO... I'm basically trying to get help for recommended settings in OBS for my setup. Or if you guys can see something I can't in the logs and tell me that something is wrong.

I've played around with both NVENC and x264. The above log should be a x264 attempt. We've also done speedtests and tried connecting to different servers through OBS. Auto, a nearby city and even a server in Canada because it showed it as having the best stats for me.
---
This second log is NVENC and it's weird. Last night, using these same settings, I streamed for 2 hours straight and OBS said 0 frames dropped for the entire stream.
Today I load up, stream for about 15 minutes with no trouble and then all of a sudden, OBS says 5k frames dropped. (Though the logs say 566? I dunno how it all works)
Also, there was no storm this time to screw with my internet connection with this last stream. Just the first stream at x264 I mention above.

My internet could be the issue, we do PAY for good internet here but it's not perfect: we're kinda in the middle of nowhere. So, should I just accept that I'm going to drop frames OR is there a setting that can help me smooth it out better?
Thanks!
