After about 15 minutes my FPS drops from around 90 to 10 in CS:GO for a few seconds, then returns to normal. After the 15 minutes, the spikes happen every few minutes. When this happens, my cpu temp decreases, cpu load increases, gpu load decreases. It happens in all other games too, but I am using cs as the current example. This problem did not happen a few months ago with a weaker card.
I used xsplit at 25fps @ 720p (no license) and played for 20 minutes and didnt get any drops. Maybe I just got lucky there, I dunno. I'll try using it again tomorrow.
Specs:
AMD FX-8120 @ 3.1GHz
16GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600MHz
AMD R9 280X
750W PSU
Nothing is over/under clocked

I know you guys get lots of these threads, but I've asked in several other places and i've had this problem for a while and im desperate to solve it
