Hey guys! I have no questions about actual "recording" but more about the post production.

I bought adobe premier annnnd low and behond a BILLION sync issues with mp4 :(

so I am here today to ask you people who make videos and edit them for youtube or live streams. what software do you use to encode/edit/compresss/encode and so on and so forth.

i have so many 720p30frames zero frameloss videos but no real way to edit them yet. since adobe doesnt wanna play nice!

any help discussing post production editing and so forth would be great! who knows maybe im derp and have a setting wrong in obs that is making adobe mean and bully XD thanks guys!

PS. obs is the best thing. switched from xsplit the instant i saw obs (pretty much right as beta was out) and never regretted it.

Whenever I hear "sync issues" and "problems editing" I always think "maybe the source wasn't wasn't made with a constant frame rate". But otherwise I don't know. I use Sony Vegas as a NLE, but I think what I do would barely even qualify as "post-production". Nevertheless, check that CFR thing.

Edit: Oh and to answer your other question, I use Sony Vegas to output to a lossless AVI "intermediate" file, then use Handbrake to make it into an mp4 for upload to YouTube or whatever.

Once I used Handbrake to make a CBR file that I streamed to Twitch using the video source plugin, mainly as a test to see if I could stream non-game footage this way. It worked fine and by not being real-time, I could go berserk with a very-slow / placebo preset. It looked real nice for the bitrate it was using.
