So I’m trying to record clips at 1440p 60fps and everything is smooth but then I get these micro stutters every 10 seconds which last for around 3 seconds. I also noticed if I look at the preview, and for example, drag a google chrome tab, I could see there are micro stutters every so often which are then in my clips. This also happens on shadowplay whenever I record something. I have a 144hz 1440p display and I switched to 60hz because the game I am playing is locked at 60 FPS. The only way I fixed these micro stutters was by switching back to a 1080p 60hz display.
Does anyone know why OBS and Shadowplay have these micro stutters when setting your display to 60hz and recording clips at 1440p 60fps but when I switch to my other monitor that’s 1080p 60hz I don’t have any stutters? Thanks!
