I really question why you're recording at 240fps. Literally nothing supports it.

Can you please try at 60fps and see if you have the same issue?

Only other thing I can see is you have a display capture source running in the same scene as game capture. Remove the display capture source from the same scene as your game capture.

I did, it still has the same problem, it has to be something with game capture

Or something on your PC. It's working perfectly fine for everyone else, or we'd be hearing a lot more about it.

Check to make sure you don't have any performance boost/optimization software installed, and try disabling or uninstalling any non-Windows Defender antivirus as those are known to cause issues.

I have nothing on my PC that has impacted it, one day I wake up, turn my pc on and OBS randomly doesn't work

I'm playing minecraft, right now, as I'm typing this, capturing it with OBS and nothing is going wrong.

However, I'm not maxing out my GPU by trying to play at an obnoxious 700+fps which is a complete waste of system resources. Can you try capping FPS in the game at something reasonable and see if you have the same issues?
