I only made this account so that I could talk about this I have been able to figure things out by myself for the most part up until now. My OBS does not record 1440@60fps smoothly and I have even tried turning it down to 1080@60fps but I still have the same problem. It will start dropping frames even without recording anything. Al I have to do is open my game on my main monitor and the frames sometimes drop all the way down to 30fps but even when it says that it is at 60fps if I go back to that area in the recording it looks terrible and choppy. It does the same thing when I stream 720@60fps. Here are my setting for both.
