I recently made the switch from Elgato's software to OBS and I couldn't be happier. I much prefer it in every sense. I had a few initial kinks that I've since managed to iron out but after recording a few times I've noticed an irritating frame dropping issue. Luckily I have a YouTube account and I have an example of it in my latest video. You will see the issue I'm talking about at 1:39 to 1:42. It happens a few other times throughout the video also but this was one of the more noticeable ones.
