Hello,
I have tried two different Directshow Devices and I am getting video stutter that seems to happen randomly, but at least every 5 minutes. It looks like frame dropping, but OBS is not dropping frames. After about 5-20 seconds of frame drop, it resumes at a smooth 30fps.
The two devices are:
XCAPTURE-1
Avermedia GL310 [(LGP lite/AverCaptureHD) using the Stream Engine]
The devices do not seem to have any issues when utilizing other programs (XCAPTURE-1 -> amarectv, GL310 -> RecCentral), so I am wondering if I am missing a necessary setting in OBS? Is there some limitation with DirectShow in OBS at this time? It might not even be related to directshow but I am just assuming...I have no issues when using Game Capture/Window Game of PC games, it's only when I use external hardware to capture Game Consoles in OBS. Maybe it's related to the devices outputting 29.97/59.94 and OBS is unable to accommodate?
I have tried changing the Buffering setting to on and set to 0.
There is no stutter on the passthrough video to my monitor either. All testing has been done with local recording on OBS x86 & x64. I have also tried AmaRec Live, added it as a Video Capture Device with the exact same result.

Any help or insight is very much welcome. I actually bought the LGP Lite thinking it was an issue with the XCAPTURE-1 & OBS, but it turns out I have the exact same issue with that as well.
PS: Sorry for the redline in DriveClub, had the sound turned off and missing gear shift left and right...
