Question / Help FPS tanking in LOL while OBS is open.

When obs is open I have fps drops all the way down to 8fps at the lowest game settings.

When obs isn't open I hover around 180fps at max settings.

It's happening every 3-5 seconds. I'm stuck at the moment and don't know what to try.

are you using game dvr in windows 10? if not, turn this (and all other gamebar stuff) off
This sounds like a windows 10 tweak problem. I had my win 10 tweaked for maximum performance on my less than stellar cpu, but a recent update reset much of my tweaks and I had to go in and redo many of them, which caused these kinds of problems.
