Question / Help FPS reduction after minimizing

Hello, let me make this short.
Is there any way to disable fps reduction when game is minimized?
I'm recording matches from time to time and everything works great, but when I minimize the game, fps suddenly drops to 20 (borderless mode). Anyway to solve it? I'm talking about League of Legends here.
To be more precise: I want to somehow increase the number of "max background fps" like in World of Warcraft. Is it possible to do so with LoL?
 
You would need to look for the option in League of Legends, I'm pretty sure the game throttles its frame rate to reduce system load when it loses focus.
 
Yep, that's exactly what happens, but there's no such option available in the game settings. I can only limit actual in-game frame rate.
