Question / Help FPS rate is getting better but still dropping randomly.

I have been streaming Guild Wars 2 for a while without any real problems until now. It has been fairly normal for my FPS to be anywhere from 28-30 fps and I am okay with that. Sometimes there is a lot going on. Lately however they have been dropping more. It sometimes goes down to 13-20 fps. After the last update for OBS it has gotten better, but it still dips randomly. It will be fine on a big fight, but then dip down if I am working on something and am alone on the screen. I am not dropping any frames.
I don't think I changed anything settings wise, but I am not sure why this is happening now when it was fine before.

Could you post a log from the latest version where you have the same problem? We added some profiling information to it.

Also, try right clicking the preview, and disable it, and see if that helps with performance at all, sometimes that can be a cause, especially on multi-adapter systems.

Also make sure you use the 64bit version of OBS. I too have witnessed random fps drops with the 32bit version for reasons unknown to me.

I am using the 64-bit version. I looked on the message boards and saw that fixed it for some people, so I gave it a try.
I also posted a copy of my log with my first post, that was what the attachment was. Did I save the file in the wrong format?

He is asking you to do another test stream and post the log from that test dream!
The log you send in was solid, but Jim is asking for a log on the newest OBS version.

Just do a quick test dream, let it go for longer then 5 min. post that log and done!

Oh, sorry, misunderstood. I did another stream for about half an hr. The FPS problem seems to be pretty much fixed from what areas I went in to, but I did get the "Warning, taking too long to encode" error a few times. Still no dropped frames luckily.
