Question / Help Fps Problems

Internet: I get 19 Up and 7.5 down

Processor: AMD Phenom ii x4 965

GFX: 550 Ti

I've tried multiple settings into trying to make my stream FPS higher, but it just stays at a constant 20 FPS. (Yes I tried changing the fps.)

Can you guys tell me what settings I should use to make my stream fps higher? I know since my up speed is decent I can stream higher then 30 stream FPS.

what is your capture method? are you using areo with monitor capture? aero with monitor capture will greatly decrease your FPS. you either have to disable aero or use window capture instead

I disabled aero and using window capture method.

if this is your stream then you're getting between 20 and 35 fps (60 on idle)

you basically want to set the preset to veryfast and set obs.exe to high priority if your ingame fps is +100 mid game

what's obs.exe? and what other settings should i use?

the other settings you should use is the cpu preset from faster to veryfast

looks like you're getting 30 fps to 20 fps in game that's unplayable.. leave obs.exe at normal and downscale your resolution to 854x480 the fps to 30 and pick ultrafast preset instead of veryfast make the quality 10 and the bitrate 2500 buffsize 2500
