Hi, I'm trying to set up a stream so my friends can watch me play and give me tips ETC when playing league of legends or WoW to be a better player. I use OBS to stream and whenever the program opens my game is really choppy and so is the stream. When I look at my FPS it's 50-60 while streaming but still choppy so I turned down all of my graphics and nothing changed. Why is it choppy when I'm getting 50-60 fps?


Graphics card

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4700MQ CPU @ 2.49 GHz

8.00 GB RAM

Ontop of this, I tried xsplit and it gave me more frames but was still choppy. am i doing something wrong?

Hello there, I have a simillar problem. I have no problems playing league of legends on the maximum quality. Apparently when i start streaming my fps drops to 40-45, reducing quality helps to add smth like 5 fps, but it doesn't completely solves the problem. I assume that could be because of the aero that cannot be disable in windows 8.1. I have also tried playing in fullscreen, didn't help either

Change the CPU preset back to veryfast and read this thread viewtopic.php?f=5&t=5965 After you've successfully followed those steps create two separate scenes one for the pvp.net client with (windows capture) and one for the ingame client (game capture) then you can use and configure this plugin so OBS can automatically switch between them based on what you're focusing on. viewtopic.php?f=11&t=1785

Remove your webcam source and try adding it again as a global source and using a lower video device resolution. Other than that you should also consider using the "Scene switcher" setup for league of legends.
