FPS overlay

Hello everybody,

I see it often that recording programs have a FPS overlay.
I was thinking is it possible to make a plugin or something to display the FPS in your game?

I don't know how to program that is why ask if it possible in OBS.

I also requested this some time ago, but it's not really a part of OBS in that regard.
Would love to see it be integrated into Steam, however (without using Fraps or Bandicam) :)

For now i'm using Fraps too.
I used for a long time Xfire, but i'm using Raptr instead of Xfire which has not a FPS overlay in my favorite game :S.

Would be better if it shows how long have you been streaming for, stream fps, in-game fps etc.

Maybe all this info as an overlay which is in obs window:
