Question / Help FPS loss on the record

Hey there,

I just wanted to try some recordings with OBS, and I now always get "laggy" recordings.
In games like WoW, all works fine.
In Overwatch (ingame FPS ~100), it feels like 22 on the record.
I also tried to record Fallout IV, but it crashes as soon as is start to record.
I tried every setting.... :/
My CPU is most of the time on 100%, how do I fix this, coz I dont think, that the CPU should be TOO BAD for recording?!

Change to SuperFast or UltraFast preset.

You might also try using NVEnc instead of x264, seeing how you have a GTX 1070.
 
I did, without success.

i tried now the NVEnc setting. It was also "laggy", plus the sound was slower then the video... :/
 
I installed now just for fun the OBS Studios.
On default settings it works much smoother, then OBS did. I think i wil Setup with this..
