Question / Help FPS Issue

Hello! I have a pretty good CPU but a rather terrible GPU. I've been playing a game at around 200 FPS and have had no lag spikes whatsoever. However, whenever I start recording it drops down to about 30 FPS in game. Does anyone know how I can potentially fix this?

OBS consumes GPU resources. If your GPU is weak it will be negatively impacted by running OBS.
