Question / Help FPS drops with OBS when any game starts

Hello all. First time posting something here because I never really had any issues with OBS until recently. It was working perfectly earlier but now any game I try game capture or Desktop capture with now it just drops FPS even in preview mode. To help answer some questions and save time. Yes I have tried earlier versions of OBS (Still same issue) also I can't go back to previous builds of Windows 10 (10 day limit has already passed). Disabling preview also does not work. If there's any way to fix this that would be great.

Same thing happening to me after update it seems. Wasn't happening before. Even if it's in preview and I don't even have game capture capturing anything, after awhile the frames just don't make it back up to 60
 
I'll test 16.6 when I get back home and check some stuff out.

From what I've read on the forums here though, the important people are saying it has nothing to do with update. But I don't know, seems like a lot of people are suddenly getting tons of fps issues.
 
Yeah I just tried to do a clean install with 16.6 and still having the issue with it dropping. Could it be something just with Windows 10 in general that's not fixed?
 
Afaik the only issue with 10 is the mjpeg issue fixable via a registry edit. Can't help ya man, you need a pro! Good luck
