Whenever I try to play games, I get FPS drops. It will say 300 sometimes in game and then drop down to 20 or so. I am relatively new to OBS so if I can supply you with any other info I'd be happy to. Also, I don't seem to be able to find my log file anywhere. I don't have AppData? Thanks so much for your help!

Output 'adv_stream': Number of lagged frames due to rendering lag/stalls: 37 (0.7%)

Your GPU is overloaded. Cap your frame rate in-game to reduce GPU usage.

How is my GPU overloaded? Isnt streaming a CPU intensive job? And the games run fine while not streaming. Plus, I capped my games at 144 and they are still laggin quite a bit. Should I cap them at 60? And do I really have to? I want to keep it at 144 on my end. Thanks again for your help!

OBS uses your GPU to render frames and composite the scene. The CPU/hardware encoder is used to encode your stream/recording. Capping the frame rate is needed so the GPU doesn't max out while rendering a high amount of frames. You should cap your frame rate to the highest frame rate you can cap it to without OBS giving you any encoding overload errors.

Update: I capped my frame rate to 60 on multiple games, and the stutters did not stop while streaming. To clarify, the stutters aren't just on stream, they're in game. Again, I have a GTX 1060.
