First of all my pc specs are : (im using a gaming laptop keep that in mind)

Intel i7-4720HQ CPU 2.60GHz

8 GB DDR3 RAM

Nvidia GTX 960M

I have a quite strong pc i think. I usually have 200 FPS in lol , 120 fps in CS:GO , 60 FPS in H1Z1 etc etc. But whenever i try to stream , my fps drops. Its not like always low , its not stable , i get around 120 in LoL while streaming but every 5-10 seconds or in fights it drops to 40--45 etc. And im not using monitor capture.

My OBS settings are:

Encoding:
CBR : On
Max Bitrate: 900

Video:
Base resolution 1920x1080
Resolution Downscale : 960x540
FPS 30

Here is my log file :

CBR usually brings the lag onto most computers, even if it's one tiny game and nothing except for that game and obs. Try turning off CBR or increasing Max Bitrate to about 1300-2000.

Well i dont have a good upload speed i have 2Mbit Upload atm , so 1300-2000 bitrate is a little high for me , let me try the cbr thing tho.

Hmm, not much to say then. I would recommend trying to get a higher upload speed, because I know that computers are expensive. Besides, what game/thing are you trying to record?
