Hey,
i'm really new to streaming/recording, but i noticed, that i have huge FPS drops while doing so.
I wanted to record some of my World of Warcraft footage. I set all settings ingame to minimum.
I usually play with 50-60 FPS, but as soon as i start OBS it drops to 20-30 FPS depending on what i am doing ingame.
My specs:
Win 7 64 bit
CPU: AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1055T Processor
Mainboard: ASUSTeK Computer INC. M4A88TD-M EVO Rev X.0x
GFX: Power Color AMD HD Radeon 6850
RAM: 2x 2048 MB DDR3 OCZ
I tried everything to get this working fluently, but was not able to.
Lately i tried to record at 1280x720, 30fps, quality 6, Bitrate 4000...
It seems to me that is does not matter what i am doing...if i try to record at 1980x1050, 60fps...it's also a drop to 20-30 FPS ingame.
Is my spec just too bad for recording/streaming?
Here is the log.
