Question / Help FPS drops when I click on OBS. Studio mode drops more (and nothing streaming/recording/no scene)

Hey guys

I was doing a webinar other day when I had unusual lag with OBS. It was all cool, all scene and mic fine one day before.

I really don't know why, because I wasn't streaming or recording anything at the time. When I click anything other than OBS, the FPS is fine. When I click on the program, FPS drops. On Studio mode, drops more.

I uninstalled and kept the preferences, it keeps lagging.

I'm using version 25.0.1

I'm ataching the log of today. Nothing opened, no scene, but keeps lagging.

I'm also ataching three images. A print of a situation without the mouse on OBS (60fps); with the mouse on OBS, clicking on it(38,44fps); and with the mouse clicking on OBS but using studio mode (19,7fps).

I have intel i7 and gtx 1060 so it shoudn't lag (and in fact, it never has before).

I was trying little bit more, I did clean install and it continue to lag.

But I found something crazy. When I choose to run with "integrated graphics" it doesnt lag.


With gtx1060 it does lag, but with onboard intel gpu it doesn't lag! haha
