Hello,
So I've been streaming with OBS for a while now and I really do love the software. My only problem is, like most others, I'm having fps problems on stream, not in game, but when others are watching my stream. This happens with any game I play, and I think it's a settings issue.
Here are the results from the lag analyzer (awesome little tool btw, props to the dev that made it)
Wireless detected
You appear to be streaming over a wireless connection. While this can be OK, keep in mind that interference from other radio sources or obstacles can cause your connection to momentarily stall, resulting in dropped frames or disconnects. A wired connection is strongly recommended for a reliable stream.
Bad resolution / FPS / bitrate combination
The combination of settings you are using will likely lead to a low quality stream with artifacting and other problems. Consider either raising your bitrate or lowering your resolution / FPS (qval: 0.011)
2 issues found (1 major, 1 minor).
I realize the wireless connection is probably a serious problem, which I aim to fix in the near future, but I have a feeling the 2nd issue, the settings problem, is what's most wrong here. I've tried playing around with my bitrate a bit but nothing seems to work. I have however kept a constant 45fps and 1920x1080 resolution settings. I can post my PC specs if needed, but my speed test was 11mb/s download and 4mb/s upload, can retest if needed.
Log file of a past stream is here -> http://pastebin.com/2L11CZQD
I couldn't find the attach button, hope this works.
Thanks in advance for any words of wisdom that you can give.
