Question / Help Fps dropping in League of Legends with OBS

Ever since widows update, idk if that is the culprit, but I have been having extremely low fps drops using OBS while streaming league. Without obs I get anywhere from 160-300 frames however when using obs my in game can drop from 180-60 frames or lower which is absurd just recently started happening about three days ago. Any ideas on possible solutions? Please I'm desperate!!

Gtx 1070 ftw

I have the same issue, i think it has something to do with game capture (in my case it does at least). If you even open OBS with a game capture source visible, you should see a visible frame drop. Just open OBS, have the game capture source visible and see if you'll get fps drops.

EDIT: Take a look at this thread: https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/lag-fps-drops-with-obs-open-windows-april-update.84514/ and have a look at what R1CH posted, this helped me. It's not a 100% fixed but its close, i don't get any stutters and rarely my fps drops.

@KUSTi Yeh, I did the the limit fps on game capture and it helped with the stuttering just not my fps drops in the game itself. When I do open a game with obs it is a visible drop indeed. I also do get drops when capture is visible. Going to take a look at that thread thank you!
