Question / Help FPS drop when OBS is open and not recording.

I used to stream awhile back on Vanilla OBS and had no problems but recently I tried streaming again and ran into this problem. I would get major FPS drop with OBS just open.

I am now using OBS Studio and same problem. If anyone could guide me to the right direction that would be wonderful :)

Specs:

i7-4790k @ 4.5ghz
980ti SLI
16GB of ram
 
Try disabling SLI, it's known to have lots of compatibility issues. Or simply close OBS when you're not using it.
