Hello my name is Ethan and I have heard a lot of good things about OBS (which is why I decided to try it). Now a bit of a backstory before I tell you the issue, all my other software's had this problem as well. So when I play Minecraft (which is what I record) my FPS is always around 80. When I use Bandicam the FPS drops too 30 FPS. When I tried to record with OBS it did the exact same thing. I don't know if I need a new computer or what, but I would really like to start using OBS. I will leave the specs to my laptop below (keep in mind I have no clue what they mean).
Specs:
- Intel Celeron processor 2957U (1.4 GHz, 2MB L3 cache)
- Intel HD Graphics
- 15.6" HD LED LCD
- 4 GB DDR3 L Memory
- 500 GB HDD
- DVD-Super Multi DL drive
- 4 cell Li-ion battery
