Question / Help FPS/capture issues

I hope I posted in the right place this time. I thought I was in the bug reports section in my previous post.

Log file?

1) Car simulator games I get about 60-100 fps in game. But the stream, I get poor frame rate, major lag (F1 2011, F1 2012 - basically every racing game). I've tried so many combinations of settings in OBS to no avail. I have had to record my game play in HD with a webcam and then stream the recording in order to get perfectly smooth video.

For Rainbow Six Ravenshield game

2) game capture does not work for this game.
I get black screen. All of my other shooter game captures work (BF3, MoH, BF2....).
the game does appear as a selection though.

3) Window capture does not work.
If I am full screen and alt tab, the game isn't listed. From playing with OBS, window capture doesn't work for anything that is minimized, so moot point.

If I play in windowed mode, the game only shows up on my screen in 800x600 window. Then, the game window is listed in the Window capture dialogue box, but if I select it and press 'ok' nothing happens. I keep pressing ok - nothing happens.

4) Monitor capture does not work.
In windowed mode, this game appears as 800x600 on screen and OBS captures the 800x600 window over my 1920x1080 desktop background (Like the print screen below, without the black area). Nothing I select under the monitor capture dialogue box helps. Yes, the game is set at 1920x1080 resolution.

If I play in full screen mode, the game (and all it's features) appears full screen (1920x1080) on my monitor.
BUT in OBS it looks like this http://prntscr.com/1jfmuf (I had to do some cutting and pasting to replicate the look).

Game menus, movies appear like the print screen. Once I click battle, I do get 1920x1080 in OBS/stream....
but, if I alt tab out and back in, the game reverts to the print screen look and I have to restart the game.

Rainbow Six, BF2, World of Tanks common issue:
5) these games become extremely pixelated during movement. (FIXED)

Thats it (tongue in cheek). Any chance you guys could help?

My Rig
CPU: i7 Sandy Bridge (stock)
GPU: 2 x HD 6970 video cards (crossfire - but when I play games on one monitor, only 1 card is used)
Monitors: 3 x 23" Asus gaming monitors (I don't play in eyefinity if I am streaming though).
16GB RAM
Internet: 20mb download, 2mb upload

oh - somehow I have both 32 AND 64 bit OBS icons. I've tried them both with no success. The 32 bit OBS gave me an error message. Something about other programs possibly interfering (i.e. MSI afterburner - which I use, but added OBS to the approved list - as the instructions tell me to do - and still get the error).

wow, I hope my post is clear enough? Any help would be appreciated.

1.) Would have to see a log file to see your system specs and encoder/resolution/fps settings
2.) This is because game capture does not currently support directx versions before 9.0, which ravenshield definitely would be
3.) Window capture targets can't be minimized when you're trying to capture them, that's why it doesn't work like that. A window does not draw when minimized, therefore it cannot be captured while minimized.
4.) Unfortunately I can't quite understand - You're saying the game is not the same size as what is appearing in monitor capture? The app has no control over what actually appears in monitor capture -- that's actually done by windows itself. I would have to see further examples.
5.) Would have to see a log file to determine, but generally when your bitrate is too low for your FPS/resolution, or when quality balance is too high for your bitrate/FPS/resolution, this will occur.

I can understand why you may have felt this should be in bug reports but as of yet none of these things are actually bugs in the app's code.

Wow, I'm a moron. I'm sorry. My mis-understanding.
I spent so many hours working on this, I guess, it just didn't register.
I'll re-address it under Problems and Bugs.

Thank you for your patience.
