That is an OLD CPU, so you will have to be careful with background processes and overall system load to avoid a bottleneck (overload) situation
See log - lots of devices enabled but _not_ in use... best to disable at OS layer if appropriate. Or at least within OBS Studio Global Settings if not going to be used.

Thanks for posting log, but per pinned post (link in my sig),
Whether uploading the current log or your last log, make sure you encountered the problem during the session - a log file from a session where you didn't run into any problems is not useful. For example, if you're having trouble with a stream, make sure you start the stream, let it run for a while until the problem happens, stop the stream and THEN upload the current log.​

With proper OS optimization, and associated low-demand OBS Studio settings, you should be ok with a single 1080p camera. You may be able to handle a 2nd camera video feed... maybe.. it depends

So glad to find some life here. Maybe I'm going to be able to find a help but there's no waiting for the problem to occur and then send those files because I simply wake up to OBS being frozen

I also noticed you have audio devices at different sampling rates... really bad idea, especially on under-powered computers
I'm suspecting you need to do some 'house cleaning' at Operating System level to reduce background compute resource demands
then some attention to OBS Studio setup

I would have never done a thing that wasn't recommended. And I believe I was always told default was best for me. I didn't change any settings I don't believe. these same settings have succeeded before. There's an option for audio and it only offers two choices. I have never changed them on purpose but I will if you say that may be the solution.

The Windows Operating System Audio sub-system is notoriously unsophisticated, but sort of good enough for typical usage
That usage does NOT include livestreaming
So, the differing Audio sampling rates is something set at Operating System (not OBS Studio) level, and requires going into Operating System Audio Device settings to adjust (something usually not done/need, but is needed in this circumstance)

Really appreciate your giving problem attention. It is so major in my hopes for my future. I did have OBS working for months at a time quite a while ago and then it failed and I've never gotten it to work correctly again

So something working a while ago, doesn't mean it will always works. Something any decent PC tech support should know

And typical IT tech support person often won't know specifically about OBS Studio (which being free, open-source software [FOSS]) follows the tradition of requiring a higher level of end-user self-education to make good use of the software.
And you are trying to use an old, outdated, under-powered computer, which certainly makes things harder.. Trying to get OBS Studio set up, when you don't have a full grasp of the technology, AND you keep running into under-powered computer limitations can be frustrating and time-consuming.

Now, have the people who 'helped' you not known what they were doing? or did you then mess things up? no real way for any of us to know at this point... could easily be either.

Some basic computer operations on such an old computer I'd advise as being required
1. Going thru OS level auto-start Tasks and Service and remove those not actually necessary (on a typical computer, I'm usually disabling 1/3 to 1/2+ of auto-start items (Task Manager -> Startup tab)). When dealing with OS level services, this takes some expertise to do tight, as one can easily screw things up
2. Rebooting computer before Streaming/Recording session. I reboot, typically, daily. ymmv but Suspending/Stand-by the OS and Resuming repeatedly has never worked well in the Windows OS desktop real that I've dealt with
3. being aware of RAM consuming processes like browser sessions

I was wrong. On second look I was able to make contact with this thread and send it to the original people who helped me install the OBS. I had to pay four times and it all goes back to what he did as far as I can tell. Thanks so much. It's hard to be this deep into the weeds of tech and not being able to deal with it at all. Yeah, my experience with "typical IT people" is that they don't have a clue about live media, and are therefore actively destructive in the name of "security".

Unless the specific IT person shows that they specifically know about LIVE MEDIA SPECIFICALLY - like actually running some messy concerts or church services themselves that MUST WORK **NOW**, and not just hooking up a TV to watch later - then you should probably keep them OFF of your rig!

so I put off trying to follow your suggestions because I was afraid I wouldn't succeed and sure enough I just now tried and couldn't adjust the audio sampling rates on my own. Sorry to ask, but could you be specific about what to change and how?

Sorry, changing audio sampling rates, is more of the 'it depends'.. starting with exactly with version of the operating system, and the specific device driver

The thing to be aware of, not all drivers allow the same sampling rates... so
1. disable within OBS Studio (Global Settings > Audio) all Audio inputs you won't be using.
2. Of the remaining devices, check the driver properties and see what is available in terms of sampling rate
typically (but ymmv) you'll shoot for 16 bit, 48000 Hz (DVD Quality)[aka 48KHz] if not, maybe 16 bit, 44100 Hz (CD Quality)
