Question / Help Forced to switch to Xsplit - Dual Elgato & OBS non-compatible?

Hey guys, last night was a sad day for me. I have been using OBS for about 3 years now and have absolutely loved it. Its been such a good program, and I am thankful for everyone that has chipped in to develop it. However, I have run into a problem that I don't know is fixable, at this time.

Yesterday, I got my second Elgato HD60 Pro, in the mail, and hooked it up. I got Elgato to send me their "experimental" driver to be able to use 2 elgato's at the same time. I opened up OBS and added both video sources, and it worked fine, but the interface was laggy. I restarted my pc, to see if that would help at all and now OBS will not show both sources at the same time and freezes up. I have tried everything from starting from scratch, and making new scenes/sources, to unplugging things and starting fresh, to changing any settings that might interfere, etc... I really wanted this to work, as everytime I load up OBS now, I get a black screen for my xbox and only my camera works, or vise versa. Then, OBS freezes up and force closes. I assume its a driver issue with OBS, but I'm not sure. I hopped on the community chat and talked to a dev, but we were not able to fix the problem. I should mention that if I try this same process on OBS Classic, it runs much better, but the dev told me that OBS classic was dead, and Studio is better/more efficient.

So, I wanted to stream yesterday with both capture cards, and since OBS was failing me, I downloaded Xsplit. Not knowing that when I logged in it said I had a full year of premium for free, I was off to a good start. Anyways, I added my scene/sources and it worked perfectly. No lag, runs both Elgatos perfectly fine, just like OBS should be doing. I used it for 4 hours straight, streaming/recording and never had an issue.

Now, I would rather use OBS, as I think its more precise in what I can change, but unless I can get the issue resolved I will just simply have to put OBS on the backburner. If anyone at all has any recommendations, or advice, I am all ears. Please don't take this as a bash thread, or a hate thread. I am simply trying to explain my situation and are seeking help. Thank you for taking the time to read this, have a good day.

You're trying to capture the same card multiple times using multiple sources. You should remove ALL your sources that point to elgatos and add a total of TWO. One for each card.

Im confused. On the scene I am trying to use "Xbox Stream" I only have 2 sources, once for each card?

Sources are global per collection. They are not per-scene.
Ohhhhh, was that changed when Studio was made? Classic was not this way, correct? So what you're saying is my different scenes are all trying to access the capture cards at the same time? If this is the case, then it is not possible to use scene switcher?

You use the add existing when adding the source to a new scene.
Ohhh, makes sense now. I will try this when I get home tonight, as that makes sense. I always just put add new scene. Thank you for the help Harold, I will update you in about 14 hours lol. I do appreciate it.
