Alright. I'm going to try to be as detailed as I can be here. I want to explain that I understand there is a limitation when using browser source that is outside the control here; what I'm hoping for is a workaround.
The addition of audio docking to allow for dynamic game volume was amazing, and I was all over that when the update came out. However it has created a problem for me that I can't find a solution to - but please note I'm new to using the software and broadcasting on a whole so there may be a common fix for this.
I am using custom alerts from player.me that integrate with streamlabs. They've worked flawlessly for me. The problem is that they are a browser source that from what I understand cannot be changed from default to go to desktop audio. My game sounds also go to desktop audio. Desktop audio is docked in OBS with the mic as it's master to nearly deafen desktop audio when im speaking to allow for clear communication especially during intense game environments. The problem is that my audio files that accompany those alerts are almost never audible because of the dock (the sounds are subtle by choice).
Is there anyway at all to separate game audio from desktop audio since I cannot apparently change the browser source audio path? I'd like to be able to dock just the game audio in OBS and let the desktop audio have a persistent audio level for those alerts with no dock.
Pulling my hair out here so any and all help would be very much appreciated.
