Footage Zoomed. Fit to Screen changes nothing

So I'm trying to record some footage for a special product for myself, and some Resolutions are set correctly and fit to screen changes absolutely nothing. I am a massive noob at this, so a step-by-step guide would be appreciated.

Also, if this is in the wrong place, feel free to move it. I don't even know how to find a log file, either.
