Followed a tutorial to split audio and now all recordings are completely silent

I am only trying to capture my microphone audio and the audio from my browser. I want the audio from my microphone to show up on the VOD but I don't want my browser to show up. I followed this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kM2tmaU64l4. And these are my settings.

I don't understand why my test recordings are completely silent. OBS says it's picking up audio from both sources when I'm recording but the video I have saved from that session has no audio at all.

You are recording each Audio source onto multiple tracks? that seems odd (not right) to me... but not my area of expertise

However, but what gets mentioned everytime someone starts playing with Tracks and runs into issues is that MANY video playback devices will NOT handle multi-track recording as you'd expect. So, you MUST make sure you are using a video playback application that 1. works with your Recording, and ideally let you pick which Audio track to listen to. Do NOT make assumptions about what should and should not work in this regard... usually causes trouble ... from what others have posted previously on this exact issue

The vast majority of the time, when folks reported missing audio, it was actually a playback issue, NOT the Recording itself

All I'm trying to do is make it so my VODs don't get muted for the music I'm playing from my browser during my art streams. This was the most recent tutorial on how to do that so I followed it.

If anyone could point me in the direction of a tutorial that actually works or tell me how to do this that would be awesome. What has been posted about video playback does not make sense or help me.

It seems that the problem may not be with the source settings, but with the OBS mixer itself or the selection of audio tracks when recording. Check that the tracks are not muted in Output → Recording and that the sources are correctly assigned to specific tracks. Often OBS shows the audio levels but does not record them if the track is not selected.
