Folders not appearing as opened while recording

When I record a screen capture (of a program on my desktop) everything records except when I try to open a folder within the program. For example, When I click "FIle" it shows that, but then when I click the folder the file is in the folder does not appear within the recoding. OBS records every step except when I open a folder. It shows my mouse navigating over where the folder would be, it shows my mouse moving to the file to open but it will not show the opened folders. I've googled this issue but I don't believe I'm wording it correctly as I keep getting information on which folders my OBS recordings are in. Arg!

Thank you in advance for your knowledge and assistance

its normal must use Displaycapture instead of window Capture ! ITs a new window !
If I do that I cannot route to the program I am trying to capture/record. It just gives me infinite windows of options that have nothing to do with what I'm trying to capture.

Display capture will capture the OBS window as long as the obs window is showing on the display.
Video Feedback effect comes into play in that case.

I understand that the capture works on any OBS window open. What do you mean by " Video Feedback effect comes into play in that case ?"

I'm surprised that nobody understands what I'm trying to explain. I still cannot open the "FILE EXPLORER" on the program I'm (window) capturing in OBS and have it appear in my recorded video using window capture.
