Foggy Minecraft Recording

I'm recording Minecraft and it's always foggy no matter what I do. I've gotten the screen tearing to stop but the recording just isnt as crisp as it shows up on my monitor. my monitor is 2560x1440 but I have my canvas and output set to 1920x1080. I'm running CBR at 6000 kbps and yes I have to run MP4 as I need multiple audio channels. And I did try switching to simple and mkv and it was just as bad. Encoder is Nvidia NVENC H.264. Also my Performance Overlay is showing I'm only ever using 18% max of my GPU.

I've been stumped by this problem for years and no amount of digging in the forums has helped me.

Here is the most recent log https://obsproject.com/logs/sOk39188LBP2b6nJ

Thank you so much

You don't need mp4 for multiple audio channels. MKV is still the recommended better option. If your video edition software can't read MKV files you can remux the file later or use a better video editing software.
Never use CBR for recording, instead use CQP as it's based on quality and it changes the BRs as needed to keep the quality.
Display capture uses more resources and may cause issues with some games. Instead use game capture or window capture.

In windows audio settings change the CABLE-A Output (VB-Audio Cable A) to 48Khz so it's equal to the other windows audio and OBS audio settings.

Don't use adanced output settings, you don't need it. You have all what you need in simple output settings.
  1. Run the auto.configuration Wizard and apply the settings it gives. Do NOT change anything.
  2. Restart OBS
  3. Test as is.
  4. Now you can try and change to a better quality preset for the recording.
If all goes well, you're done.
